Historians get all clear to photograph graves
Over the weekend (30/31 January) a story broke in the local Birmingham newspapers about a group of amateur historians who had been banned from taking photographs at two historic cemeteries in the City. See earlier blog entry.
I am glad to report that the city council has now given the group the all clear to continue photographing graves in Key Hill and Warstone Lane cemeteries.
The group undertaking this work are the Jewellery Quarter Research Trust and details of their work can be found on their website.
