New Library of Birmingham opens 3rd September 2013
Tuesday 3rd September 2013 is a special day in Birmingham, the New Library of Birmingham finally opens to the public.
The new library is the largest public library in Europe.
The Wolfson Centre for Archival Research opens on the 9th September, this will be a great resource for genealogists and local historians and after 9 months of having no access to Birmingham Archives, will no doubt be busy in the coming weeks.
I am looking forward to my first visit in the next couple of weeks or so.
