FamilySearch – August 2020 Updates
FamilySearch have added or updated the following collections during August to date (21 August 2020). Some collections have images however in the majority of cases these can only be viewed at a FamilySearch History Centre or affiliate library.
This collection contains regimental descriptions, succession books, commissions, appointments, descriptions, returns of services, casualties, half pay, pensions, gratuities. The records are held at The National Archives in Kew under WO 25.
Church of England marriage bonds and allegations from the Diocese of York and Diocese of Ripon both in Yorkshire from 1613 to 1887.
The records include Apprenticeships, School Admissions, Prison Registers, and Workhouse Registers. The indexes and images are provided in cooperation with www.findmypast.co.uk
Non-Conformist Church records from the county of Essex containing baptisms/christenings, marriages, and deaths from the following religions in Essex: Society of Friends (Quaker), Dutch Reformed, Presbyterian, Congregational, Independent, Baptist, Wesleyan Methodist, Protestant, French Protestant, New Jerusalemite, and Methodist.
